Dirty, mouldy, tiny and dodgy. It’s got to be illegal to have a room for hire to be this poor of condition. Black mould in the shower and sink, broken tiles, dirt all through the floor, bed doesn’t fit in the room properly, knees hit the wall when sitting on the toilet (I’m less than 6ft), tap water was milky, and the list goes on. I’d recommend anyone looking at this apartment to look elsewhere. Absolutely disgraceful.

Location in free tram zone that is highly accessible to any places in Melbourne. Hotel will contact you if you're arriving after check-in hours or you will need to email them to inform on your arrival time. Guidelines will be given by hotel. In the room, you will get basic toiletries, free instant coffee/tea/sugar/creamer/milk, microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, iron, and towels.

City Square Motel is located on Swanston Street, the most convenient street in Melbourne CBD, where lots of free trams are available right downstairs. With a walking distance you can get to many famous tourist attractions, including the most iconic Flinder Train Station. The room was equipped with an air con, a microwave, a toaster, and some utensils, ideal for those who want to heat up food. However, its biggest drawbacks are the cleanliness and old amenities. I saw stains on the carpet, on the table, and on the bathroom floor. Some socket were out of use. One of them even got the buzz noises while I was trying to plug in the hair dryer. The toilet was leaking, with water running all day. Repair needed.

Amazing room size, aged hotel but located in a terrific spot, laundry room is convenient and easy to access, shower is great and hot. Highly recommend for a budget stay If any improvements needed it would be brighter lighting in hallway and in room

交通方便，近唐人街，地方雖小，床挺舒服的，好睡，東西挺齊全的，但是需要預約，前台經常沒有人，不過這個價格啊，是一般普通人可以住得起的，值得推薦

City Square Motel doesn't claim to be anything other than a basic, cheap place to rest your head, but there is a trade off for such budget accommodation. Firstly, the good things were the location with access to trains and trams on your doorstep and the bed sheets were clean. Nice. But, I'll be honest I have NEVER stayed in a place I've not felt safe in until I stayed here (I'm a +40 year old man). Throughout the entire night there there was shouting and swearing, even violence in the corridor and outside my room door. This went on until I choose to check out way ahead of time at 730am!! Clearly the 'no smoking' policy is optional as the floor reeked of smoke and had a dank smell throughout. My bedroom floor had a questionable stain which looked fresh, the bathroom was filthy, but at least there was toilet paper. Didn't dare attempt to use kitchen facilities but I did use the iron, which worked. So thats a win.
